recognized LinguaLISTek for Business Diversity Achievement at its 13th Annual
Committee for Business and Economic Diversity
Awards Program and Breakfast Gala held at Ten Oaks Ballroom on April
24, 2007.

Elizabeth Rendón Chosen for Leadership Howard County 2006-2007 Program
Elizabeth Rendón, Lingual Information System Technologies, Inc.
is among the list of participants recently chosen for the Leadership Howard County 2006-2007
Program, according to an announcement by Paul Skalny, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
"The selection of these outstanding participants was a difficult task," said Mr. Skalny.
"Howard County is blessed with a wealth of talented and commited people. The candidates
who are selected for this program reflect a balance of interests and backgrounds, bringing
an array of perspectives, talents, and resources to the class."

The Leadership program was launched in 1985 to develop capable, well-informed individuals
committed to formulating plans for community improvement. The program addresses countywide issues
in monthly, daylong seminars where these concerened citizens meet with established leaders in
business, government, and community services.

Columbia, MD President/CEO to receive prestigious Top MBE Award
Columbia, MD Sep 22, 2006 The Governor’s Office of Minority Affairs
(OMA) and The Daily Record announced that Elizabeth Rendón, President/CEO
of Lingual Information System Technologies, Inc. (LinguaLISTek) located in
Columbia, MD has been named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Minority Businesses
for 2006. This program is designed to salute Maryland’s best minority
and women business owners and to highlight their achievements.
LinguaLISTek is a certified 8(a), woman/minority/veteran-owned small disadvantaged
business. LinguaLISTek has supported the U.S. defense community for over nine years
by providing state-of-the-art support services in the areas of Information Technology
(IT) to include software and system engineering, Foreign Language Services, Training
Services, and Security Services. Our core capabilities include program management,
web development, software engineering, network operations support, systems engineering,
and information assurance. Our foreign language services include training (either in
our Language Learning Center, on-site, or computer-based), translation, transcription,
interpretation, product localization, course development, and research.
A panel of distinguished judges chose Elizabeth Rendón as an entrepreneur who has
demonstrated outstanding achievement in four key areas: business development, client
satisfaction, professional affiliations and community outreach.

Elizabeth Rendón will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Inn and Conference
Center, at University of Maryland University College, in Adelphi, Maryland, on Friday,
October 27.
